Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Installation Technician to support our installation crews. This entry-level position offers comprehensive on-the-job training while you learn to install heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with HVAC system installations
- Help with equipment removal and installation preparation
- Learn proper installation techniques for ductwork, piping, and equipment
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Transport materials and equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites
- Complete assigned training modules and certifications
- Support preventive maintenance of company vehicles and tools
Qualifications
- No experience required – we provide comprehensive training!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic mechanical or construction experience
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Trade school or technical education background
- Military experience with mechanical systems

Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work during peak installation seasons.
