Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Installation Technician to oversee our most complex installations, manage multiple crews, and serve as a technical expert for challenging projects. This is a senior leadership role for an installation professional ready to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple installation crews on complex commercial and residential projects
  • Serve as technical expert for challenging installations and system designs
  • Plan and schedule installation projects to maximize efficiency and quality
  • Conduct pre-installation site surveys and coordinate with sales team
  • Train and mentor lead and assistant installation technicians
  • Ensure all installations meet or exceed manufacturer and code requirements
  • Handle customer interactions for high-value projects
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop creative solutions
  • Maintain safety standards and conduct safety training for crews
  • Participate in project bidding and cost estimation processes
  • Interface with general contractors, engineers, and building inspectors

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience
  • Minimum 2 years of crew leadership or supervisory experience
  • Expertise in commercial and complex residential HVAC systems
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, gas, and refrigeration systems
  • Thorough understanding of building codes and permit processes
  • Experience with system commissioning and startup procedures
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Proven leadership and training capabilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or technical college HVAC degree
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Multiple manufacturer certifications
  • OSHA 30-Hour safety certification
  • Experience with building automation and control systems
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
