Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Technician to handle our most complex service calls, mentor junior technicians, and help drive our service department’s continued growth. This is a leadership role for a seasoned professional who can work independently and represent our company’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system problems across all equipment types
  • Handle high-priority and challenging service calls requiring advanced expertise
  • Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices
  • Lead service department initiatives and process improvements
  • Sell maintenance programs and system replacements when appropriate
  • Maintain highest customer satisfaction standards
  • Participate in emergency on-call rotation as needed
  • Complete detailed service reports and recommendations
  • Assist with warranty work and manufacturer relationships
  • Train on new technology and equipment as industry evolves

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with commercial and residential systems
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Leadership and mentoring experience
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or technical college HVAC degree
  • Additional manufacturer certifications
  • Experience with maintenance program management
  • Smart home and IoT HVAC technology knowledge
  • Spanish language skills (growing customer base)
